Gardens Of The Rising Tide
A downloadable game for Windows
Gardens Of The Rising Tide is a combat focused action roguelike, where you collect powerful weapons and upgrades, in order to defeat the ongoing attacks from enemies.
Unlike most similar games, you're required to use two different kind of weapons: light and heavy. The latter ones, while more powerful, require ammo, which you only receive by dealing damage with your light weapons. Both of them can be either a melee or a ranged weapon. You can use the classical, sword + rifle combo, but why not try something new? Perhaps a pistol and a rocket launcher is more to your liking, try out a shield and a giant hammer, or a sword ... and a bigger sword! Further you can collect passive items to get even more powerful.
The game features:
- Combat, similar to Hyper Light Drifter and Synthetik: Legion Rising, with 60 unique weapons, divided into light and heavy ones.
- Endless, randomly generated levels, and different tiers of chests.
- 35 passive Items, which can be stacked indefinitely in order to increase thier effectiveness.
- 12 different enemies (they might be a bit buggy at times), that will continue to attack in a Risk Of Rain-Style manner.
- 2 player coop (This one is very much WIP, you need to be in the same network and pray it doesn't crash.)
- Some bugs I didn't manage to fix, sorry

Great job! The effects and game play are SOLID!
Thank you very much!
Do you have any suggestions or wishes for further improvements?
Nah, it was good! I didn't do co-op, but I didn't encounter any crashes or bugs in single player
Don't worry, I already found enough bugs...
Anyways, if you're interested, I want to release a new update in a few days, which will add destructible environment alongside more weapons, upgrades, and enemies.
Cheers!
